Baby Collection
Challenge: Design a specialized diaper bag collection for CALPAK, leveraging the success of previous collections that have been increasingly seeing success in the diaper/ baby bag category.
Objective: To create a new line of parent-specific bags that seamlessly integrates with CALPAK’s aesthetic and core demographic while incorporating features that parents will need and look for when shopping for a diaper bag.
Approach: This collection was designed with the intent to elevate CALPAK’s offerings in the diaper bag market. By combining stylish designs with functional elements specific to a parent’s needs, the new collection aims to meet the evolving needs of our customers while enhancing the brand’s presence in the baby bag category.
I started this project during my first month at CALPAK as the Assistant Technical Designer. I was tasked to design the Stroller Caddy Bag and began the ideation accordingly.
The Stroller Caddy Crossbody Final Design
The Stroller Caddy Crossbody design was chosen to be reflected in the rest of the collection. This led to my task to design the Baby Collection.
Spacious, Organized Interiors
Each item has multiple insulated pockets for snacks and bottles, elastic slip pockets, and mesh zippered pockets to (hopefully) make parenting a little bit easier.
Designated Wipe Pockets
Stroller Strap Compatible
All bags in the CALPAK Baby collection can be attached to most strollers through stroller straps.
Laptop Compartments
A necessary feature for working parents and for travel.
